Jack Moriarty
Head Equipment Manager

Jack Moriarty is now in his 37th year with the Holy Cross athletic department in 2008-2009, where he is one of the college's busiest and most popular people. He currently serves as the head equipment manager for all Crusader varsity athletic teams.

Moriarty originally came to Holy Cross as both an athletic trainer and equipment manager in 1971. He was promoted to head athletic trainer in 1991, before devoting his full time to serving as the head equipment manager in 1994. In 1992, Moriarty coordinated the sports sciences area for the NCAA men's basketball first and second round games held at the Worcester Centrum. With his hard work and dedication, he is widely regarded as the backbone behind all Holy Cross athletic teams and is seen at almost every home event. In recognition of his service, Moriarty was inducted into the Holy Cross Varisty Club Hall of Fame in 2004.

Moriarty is a 1971 graduate of Springfield College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in physical education. He and his wife, Katie, reside in Worcester.
