Holy Cross Men's Basketball To Hold First Annual Golf Outing
The Holy Cross men's basketball team will hold its first annual golf outing on Tuesday, May 20, at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, Mass. All Crusader alumni and fans of the program are invited to attend. The golf outing will give all members of the Holy Cross Men's Basketball family the opportunity to enjoy a day of golf and fun. The day will include a morning meet and greet, 18 holes of golf, and a buffet lunch with celebrity guest speakers and event prizes. (more)

Tim Clifford Receives Maloney Award
Tim Clifford is the 2007-2008 recipient of the Richard J. Maloney Award. The award was presented at the 53rd annual Holy Cross Varsity Club dinner, held at the Hogan Campus Center on Satruday, May 3. The Maloney Award has been presented annually to the men's basketball team's most valuable player since 1981. A first team All-Patriot League selection, Clifford averaged 18.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game on the year for the Crusaders. (more)

HC Receives Public Recognition Award
Fifteen Holy Cross varsity athletic teams have received Division I Academic Progress Rate public recognition awards from the NCAA. These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The public recognition awards are part of the broad Division I academic reform effort. The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete. (more)
