Holy Cross Adds Boozer & McCarthy To Coaching Staff
The College of the Holy Cross football team has named Neal Boozer assistant secondary coach and Bill McCarthy running backs coach, as announced by head coach Tom Gilmore. Boozer comes to the Crusaders from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., where he was an assistant coach for the football, basketball and track teams for three seasons. McCarthy comes to Holy Cross from Springfield College, where he spent the 2008 season as a graduate assistant coach. (more)

Daryl Brown Receives Service Award
Seven Crusader athletes are among a group of graduating Holy Cross seniors who have been selected as winners of Academic Awards for the 2008-2009 school year. Seniors Daryl Brown, Jerry Dickinson, Sebastian Fidelus, Wade Lucas, Stephen Schoenberger, Kelly Shaw and Colleen Spilka are the athletes who have been honored. These individuals received their awards in a special presentation held in the Dinand Library on Thursday, May 21. (more)

Herman Named To U.S. Jr. National Team
Holy Cross incoming freshman defensive lineman David Herman has been selected to play for the 2009 United States Football Junior National Team, which will compete in the sport's first junior world championship this summer. Herman is one of 45 graduating high school seniors who will play on America's first junior national team in football. Team USA will compete in the 2009 IFAF Junior World Championship in Canton, Ohio, from June 27-July 5. (more)
