HC Defeated By Saint Anselm, 305-309

MARSHFIELD, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's golf team fell to Saint Anselm, 305-309, in dual match action at the Marshfield Country Club. Senior Matt Czarnecki (Greenwich, Conn.) shot a 74 to lead the Crusaders. Saint Anselm's Chris Tarallo had the best round with a 71, while Jim Henebry had the second best score with a 72. Senior Joe Hajjar (Mahwah, N.J.) had Holy Cross' second best round with a 76, while freshman Colin Andrade (Assonet, Mass.) shot a 77. Senior Ryan Kenny (Medford, Mass.) shot an 82 and freshman James Widman (Middlebury, Conn.) had an 85. The Crusaders return to action on Monday and Tuesday, October 22-23, when they compete at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. |
