2004-2005 Holy Cross Men's Ice Hockey Community Service

At the College of the Holy Cross, the hockey team prides itself on giving back to the local community. Student-athletes, coaches and other members of the athletic staff participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.

Below is a listing of activities where the Holy Cross hockey team was involved in community service projects during the 2004-2005 school year.

  • September 26, 2004 - The team took part in the annual UMASS Breast Cancer Walk. Monies raised from the Walk continued to support research at the newly built Cancer Research Center and helped advance treatments in finding a cure.
  • November 12, 2004 - Team captain Tony Coskren, Brian Kolb and Matt Werry took part in a Career Day at Charlton Middle School. Photo Gallery
  • January 11, 2005 - As a team, they visited the Grafton Street School 5th and 6th graders. Photo Gallery
  • March 9, 2005 - Coach Pearl talked at Shrewsbury High School's Career Day.
  • During the fall and winter months, members of team took part in the annual DEAFinitley Hockey program, a Learn-to-Skate Program on campus for deaf kids in the community. Photo Gallery
