2005 Holy Cross Men's Lacrosse Community Service

At the College of the Holy Cross, the men's lacrosse team prides itself on giving back to the local community. Student-athletes, coaches and other members of the athletic staff participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.

Below is a listing of activities where the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team was involved in community service projects during the 2004-2005 school year.

  • October 2, 2004 - The team took part in the annual Rodman Ride for Kids to raise money for children-at-risk charities. Photo Gallery
  • In memory of a former co-captain who passed away, every member of the Men's Lacrosse team volunteered as "John's Brothers" mentors with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program of Worcester County. Matched with students at an ethnically diverse inner city school (Canterbury St. School), they spent two hours a week mentoring students both inside and outside the classroom throughout the school year.
