2004-2005 Holy Cross Rowing Community Service

At the College of the Holy Cross, the rowing team prides itself on giving back to the local community. Student-athletes, coaches and other members of the athletic staff participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.

Below is a listing of activities where the Holy Cross rowing team was involved in community service projects during the 2004-2005 school year.

September 10, 2004 - Members of the team took part in the annual Relay for Disaster Relief, an event set up to raise money to benefit the Holy Cross Sept. 11 Scholarship Fund.

Members of the team volunteered with Student Programs for Urban Development (SPUD). This is a community service organization sponsored by the Chaplains' Office consisting of over 25 different outreach programs.
