Men's Rowing Competes Against Columbia & MIT

PELHAM, N.Y. - The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in the Alumni Cup, held at Glen Island, against Columbia and MIT. The teams raced against a strong cross head wind that blew across the water throughout the afternoon. The men's varsity eight finished third in their race, with a time of 6:16.4, just 2.1 seconds behind MIT, who had a time of 6:14.5. The Novice Eight Team finished third in their race, recording a time of 6:25.9. The second varsity eight men's team raced against Columbia, finishing with a time of 6:40.1. The Crusaders return to the water tomorrow, Sunday, April 6, hosting Dartmouth College in their second home event of the season. |
