Men's Rowing Races MIT On Lake Quinsigamond
May 6, 2007 Worcester, Mass.- Two of the Holy Cross men's rowing boats competed on Sunday, May 6 on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts against MIT. The men's third varsity eight boat and the novice eight boat faced a slight tailwind for the day. Holy Cross came in first place for both events. Kevin Cummings led the third varsity eight boat to a 6:07.1 finish over the MIT light boat who was close behind at 6:08.5. The novice eight boat raced through the finish line for first place at 6:03.2 and MIT followed at 6:08.1. The men's Crusader rowing team is back in the water on Sunday, May 13 in Worcester, Massachusetts to compete in the EARC sprints. |
