CAMDEN, N.J. - The Holy Cross men's rowing team concluded the 2006-07 season as it took part in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta, held on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The varsity eight came in second in the fourth-level final to finish in 20th place overall, while the second varsity eight placed fourth in semifinal 3. The men's freshmen eight also placed fourth in semifinal 3. Washington won the Ten Eyck Trophy as the IRA national champion.

The varsity eight posted a time of 5:51.486 in the fourth-level final to come in second. Purdue won the fourth-level final with a time of 5:49.570, while Washington took first place overall, by winning the grand final in a time of 5:33.165. The Crusaders had previously posted a time of 5:59.801 to come in fifth in their opening heat, while placing fourth in their repechage heat with a time of 5:57.412. In its semifinal heat, Holy Cross had a time of 5:50.564, to come in fifth.

The second varsity eight had a time of 6:03.521 in their semifinal heat to place fourth. Washington finished in first place overall in the event, taking the grand final in a time of 5:43.021. The Crusaders had previously posted a time of 6:05.671 to place sixth in their opening heat, then came in fourth in their repechage heat with a time of 6:06.900.

The men's freshmen eight had a time of 6:00.539 to place fourth in their semifinal heat. In the opening heat the freshmen eight placed fifth with a time of 6:05.826, while they placed third in their repechage heat with a time of 6:09.601.
