Holy Cross Men's Soccer Announces 2009 Schedule
Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head men's soccer coach Ted Priestly have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2009 season. Holy Cross is scheduled to play a total of 16 games this season, including eight home contests at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium and four games against teams which advanced to the 2008 NCAA Tournament (Boston College, Boston University, Colgate and Harvard). The Crusaders will open the season at Providence (Sept. 5) and then play their home-opener against Bryant (Sept. 8). (more)

Holy Cross Announces Incoming Class
Holy Cross head men's soccer coach Ted Priestly has announced the 2009 freshman class for the Crusaders. Pat McCann (Rockville Centre, N.Y.), Evan Polanik (Holliston, Mass.), Jonah Poster (Newton, Mass.), Shane Regan (Quincy, Mass.), Steven Stefanak (Massapequa, N.Y.) and Tom Stroh (Olathe, Kan.) will join the Holy Cross program for the 2009-2010 academic year. "We are pleased to welcome these young men into the Holy Cross soccer family," said Priestly. (more)

Dickinson Receives Two Awards
Seven Crusader athletes are among a group of graduating Holy Cross seniors who have been selected as winners of Academic Awards for the 2008-2009 school year. Seniors Daryl Brown, Jerry Dickinson, Sebastian Fidelus, Wade Lucas, Stephen Schoenberger, Kelly Shaw and Colleen Spilka are the athletes who have been honored. These individuals received their awards in a special presentation held in the Dinand Library on Thursday, May 21. (more)
