WEST POINT, N.Y. - Chidie Okpoebo (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Alejandro Melean (Miami, Fla.) each scored one goal for Holy Cross, securing this week's top seed in the Patriot League men's soccer standings as the Crusaders beat Army, 2-0. Holy Cross improves to 8-5-3 and 4-0-2 in league action while Army falls to 8-7-2 and 0-5-1 in the Patriot League.

Setting up the first Crusader goal, Felipe Castrillon (Weston, Fla.) found Okpoebo five yards out from the net and a clear right side to score on. With 29:22 remaining the first half, Holy Cross led the Army Black Knights 1-0.

Just under five minutes into the second half, Jon Werth (University Park, Md.) belted a corner kick to Melean, who knocked a header into the left side of the net, giving Holy Cross a 2-0 lead and clinching the fourth league victory for the Crusaders.

Crusader goalkeeper Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) made four saves and recorded his fifth shutout of the season. Army's A.J. had one save on the game.

Holy Cross closes out its' regular season next Saturday, November 10 with Patriot League action against Lafayette.
