WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman forward Alex Schweitzer (Queens, N.Y.), a member of the Holy Cross men's soccer team, has been named the BRINE Patriot League Rookie of the Week, for competition from September 17-23. Schweitzer scored the game-winning goal during a 1-0 victory last week in a non-conference contest at Northeastern.

Of the three shots Schweitzer has made in the course of five games, two of the shots were on goal resulting in both his goals on the season. Schweitzer now has four points on the season.

The men's soccer team travels to New Hampshire tomorrow for a game scheduled at 3:00 p.m.
