WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross swimming and diving team and head coach Barry Parenteau has announced the end of the season team awards for 2005-06. Parenteau has also named team captains for the 2006-07 season.

Freshman Matthew Grogan (Allenwood, N.J.) and sophomore Andrea Doherty (Needham, Mass.) earned team Most Valuable accolades, while sophomore Christopher Smith (West Haven, Conn.) and sophomore Erica Archer (Schenectady, N.Y.) were named Most Improved.

The team captains for the 2006-07 season will be junior swimmers Brian Jackson (Phoenixville, Pa.) and Kevin Mullaney (Livingston, N.J.) for the men. Junior diver Aislinn Kelly (Sandwich, Mass.) and sophomore swimmers Doherty and Archer will lead the women's team as captains next season.

Most Improved Male: Christopher Smith `08
Most Improved Female: Erica Archer `08
