July 10, 2007

WORCESTER, Mass. - Five members of the Holy Cross men's tennis team have been selected to the 2007 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Leading the Crusaders was sophomore Angelo Sica (Chester, N.J.), who posted a 3.59 grade point average during the spring semester. Holy Cross' five total selections to the Academic Honor Roll tied for the most of any school in the conference.

Joining Sica on the Academic Honor Roll were senior Brian Kelly (Winchester, Mass.), senior Marco Lombardo (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), senior Tom Moran (Concord, N.H.) and sophomore Jay DeSanto (Dalton, Pa.).

A total of 26 student-athletes from men's tennis teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
