Men's Track Finishes 20th At New England Championship
The Holy Cross men's track and field team finished in 20th place at the 2008 New England Championship, held on Friday and Saturday at the University of New Hampshire. The Crusaders finished the meet with 12 total points, and had five individuals place in the top 10. Rhode Island won the meet with a total of 122 points. Michael Ricotta (Cross, River) had the top performance for Holy Cross, finishing third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.57. (more)

Track Competes At Day One Of New England Championship
The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Durham, N.H., to compete in the 2008 New England Championship outdoor track and field meet at the University of New Hampshire. After day one, the Crusader women had four athletes place in the top 10, with five others advancing to their event finals. The Holy Cross men added one top 10 finish and placed one athlete into the finals. For the men, Stephen Mandravelis finished seventh in the hammer. (more)

Track & Field Places Four Athletes On All-Patriot League Team
The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams have placed four athletes on the 2008 All-Patriot League teams, following the conclusion of the outdoor track and field championship this past weekend in Annapolis, Md. The first team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the first-place finishers in each event, while the second team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the second-place finishers in each event.
