May 6, 2008

Center Valley, Pa. - The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams have placed four athletes on the 2008 All-Patriot League teams, following the conclusion of the outdoor track and field championship this past weekend in Annapolis, Md.

The first team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the first-place finishers in each event, while the second team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the second-place finishers in each event.

Three other Crusaders made the second team All-Patriot League squad. On the women's side, Dannielle Meder (Chicopee, Mass.) had a second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in a school-record time of 14.47, while Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.79, good for Holy Cross' first sub-25 second effort ever in the event.
