Men's Cross Country, Track & Field Announce Captains
Holy Cross Richard L. Ahern '51 Director of Cross Country, Track and Field Jim Kavanagh has named seniors Timothy Richard and Kyle Rougeot as captains for the 2009 cross country season. Richard and Rougeot, along with senior Chase Kennedy will serve as captains for the track and field team during the 2009-2010 season. Last season, Richard led the cross country team with a 17th place finish at the National Catholic Championship (25:49) and was named Patriot League Runner of the Week (Oct. 14) for his performance at the New England Championship (58th, 25:46). Fidelus & Schoenberger Receive Awards
Seven Crusader athletes are among a group of graduating Holy Cross seniors who have been selected as winners of Academic Awards for the 2008-2009 school year. Seniors Daryl Brown, Jerry Dickinson, Sebastian Fidelus, Wade Lucas, Stephen Schoenberger, Kelly Shaw and Colleen Spilka are the athletes who have been honored. These individuals received their awards in a special presentation held in the Dinand Library on Thursday, May 21. (more)

Holy Cross Places 14 On Honor Roll
Fourteen members of the Holy Cross men's cross country team have been selected to the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The Patriot League named 60 men's cross country student-athletes to the 2008 honor roll and Holy Cross placed 14 student-athletes on the honor roll, the most out of any Patriot League institution. Brad Mish earns this honor for the fourth time in his career, while Kevin Lucid and James Lundy each receive the honor for the third time. (more)
