Crusaders Place 13 On Academic Honor Roll

Worcester, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's cross country team placed 13 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office.

Leading the Crusaders was freshman Chris Bergan (Shrewsbury, Mass.) who achieved a 3.75 grade-point average for the fall semester.

Joining Bergan on the Academic Honor Roll were junior Bobby Farrelly (East Northport, N.Y.), junior Sebastian Fidelus (Jersey City, N.J.), freshman Daniel Geiger (Maple Plain, Minn.), freshman Patrick Grogan (Hudson, Mass.), sophomore Garrett Huddy (Columbus, Ohio), junior Kevin Lucid (New Providence, N.J.), junior James Lundy (Katonah, N.Y.) sophomore Brendan Medeiros (Fall River, Mass.), junior Brad Mish (Hadley, Mass.), freshman Ryan Quinn (Old Lyme, Conn.), sophomore Kyle Rougeot (Torrington, Conn.) and junior Matthew Talbot (Garden City, N.Y.).

A total of 67 student-athletes were named to the Men's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll. American led the Patriot League with 14 members. Holy Cross had 13, Bucknell had 10, Colgate nine, Lafayette seven, Army six and Lehigh and Navy with four.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
