At the College of the Holy Cross, the women's basketball team prides itself on giving back to the local community. Student-athletes, coaches and other members of the athletic staff participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.
Below is a listing of activities where the Holy Cross women's basketball team was involved in community service projects during the 2004-2005 school year.
November 21, 2004 - The team hosted a Post-Game Kids Clinic at the Hart Center. Photo Gallery
November 23, 2004 - The team supported a game day promotion with running a Food Drive for the Worcester County Food Bank. The drive raised a total of 535 pounds of food in support of the Food Bank's hunger-relief efforts.
January 8, 2005 - The team supported a game day promotion and took part in a Post-Game Polaroid Picture event. Donations raised were given to the American Cancer Society.
January 13, 2005 - The team and coaching staff held their annual clinic and basketball game at the Mercy Centre. Photo Gallery
January 29, 2005 - Coach Gibbons and a few players held a clinic at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Auburn.
January 30, 2005 - The team hosted a Post-Game Autograph Session at the Hart Center. Photo Gallery
February 4, 2005 - Team Captains Maggie Fontana and Caitlin Agostinacchio stayed after their game to talk to a few aspiring female athletes about the importance of staying in school and how hard they had to work to get to this point in their lives. Photo Gallery

April 2, 2005 - The team took part in the Annual Holy Cross' Cares Day. The team went to the Nazareth Boys School with another group called, FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The Nazareth Boys School is a home and school for boys around ages 7-15. There are three smaller houses within the home with five boys in each house. They broke into three groups and spent time with the boys playing cards, reading, and playing all sorts of games, from board games like Operation, Sorry and Monopoly, to sports like tennis, dodgeball and baseball.

The team often visits the Mercy Centre, a school for the mentally handicapped, throughout the school year and on holidays.
