Worcester, Mass. - Maya Moore scored 31 points for Connecticut, leading the Huskies to a 91-36 victory over Holy Cross Wednesday night. The Crusaders fall 0-2 on the season while Connecticut improves to 2-0.

Senior guard Laura Aloisi (Nashua, N.H.) led the Holy Cross offense, scoring 10 points and chipping in one rebound, one assist, and one steal. Aloisis hit three of 10 attempts on the floor and netted two three-pointers.

Sophomore guard Bethany O'Dell (Lincoln, R.I.) had seven points, three rebounds, and one steal against the Huskies. Sophomore guard Briana McFadden (Wheaton, Md.) led the team in rebounds with four while chipping in four points, two assists and a steal.

Moore's off-the-bench performance made her the first freshman in Connecticut's history to score 20 or more points in the first two games of her career.

Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, November 18, as it travels to Maine for a game scheduled at 1:00 p.m.
