NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.- The Holy Cross women's golf team remains in eighth place after day two of the three-day Big South Conference Championship, which is being held at the Coosaw Creek Country Club. The Crusaders finished the day with a total of 399 strokes, and now have a total of 788 during the tournament. Birmingham Southern stands in first place with 598 strokes through the second day.

Junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) continues to lead the Crusaders, carding a team-best 89 in the second round. Lussier now stands in 32nd place overall with a total of 176 strokes. Senior Cynthia Sanossian (Scarsdale, N.Y.) had Holy Cross' second-best round of the day with a 95, and is now in 36th place with a two-day total of 198. Junior Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) currently stands in 35th place overall with 194 strokes through two rounds. Jill Stupiansky of Birmingham Southern has taken over the individual lead, carding a 70 to move into first place with a two-day total of 146.

The competition in the Big South Championship will conclude on Wednesday, April 11.
