McCALLA, Ala. - The Holy Cross women's golf team remains in eighth place out of eight teams after day two of the three-day Big South Conference Championship held at Bent Brook Golf Course in McCalla, Ala. Sophomore Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) continues to lead the Crusaders as she had a second round of 87, repeating her performance of yesterday. She is currently in 32nd place with a two-round score of 174. The Crusaders finished the day with a total of 363 and a two-day score of 730, while Birmingham Southern leads the event with a two-day total of 599.

Senior captain Meghan Costello (Copley, Ohio) shot a round of 90, improving on her 93 from yesterday and moving up two spots to 34th. Junior Cynthia Sanossian (Scarsdale, N.Y.) had the biggest improvement for Holy Cross as she also had a round of 90 improving on her 95 from yesterday and also moving up two spots to 35.

The competition concludes tomorrow.
