SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in 14th place at the 2007 Jack Leaman Invitational, which was held on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's play took place at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Mass., while Sunday's round was played at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass. The Crusaders had a team total of 785 strokes over the two rounds of play. Boston College won the team title with a two-day total of 633 strokes, and the Eagles' Katie Napleton took the individual crown with a 152 over two rounds.

Holy Cross was led by junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.), who finished in 45th place with 185 total strokes. Junior Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) came in 48th with a 187, while senior Cynthia Sanossian (Scarsdale, N.Y.) placed 61st with a 193.

The Crusaders return to action next weekend, when they take part in the Williams Spring Classic, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
