WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in sixth place out of eight teams at the Williams Spring Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club. Freshman Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) led the Crusaders with a two-round score of 174 for a tie for 15th place. Holy Cross had a total score of 720, while Middlebury College won the event with a score of 671.

Freshman Johanna Gavin (Hackettstown, N.J.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with a 176 which was good enough for 20th place, while freshman Jennifer Finger (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) had a score of 185 and a 33rd place finish. Freshman Kerrin O'Leary (Milton, Mass.) tied for 34th with a score of 186 and junior Elisabeth Sexton (Walpole, Mass.) had a 198 and finished 41st.

The 2007-08 season is now complete for the Crusaders.
