HC Places Sixth At Williams Shootout

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf team concluded the 2006 season with a sixth place finish out of six teams at the Williams Spring Shootout held at the Taconic Golf Club. Senior captain Meghan Costello (Copley, Ohio) led the Crusaders as she earned a 13th place overall finish with a two-round score of 181. The Crusaders finished the two-day tournament with a total of 843, while Middlebury College won the event with a 688. Sophomore Chelsea DuHaime (Concord, N.H.) shot the second best two-round score for the Crusaders with a 202 which was good for a 24th place finish. Freshman Alicia Molt (Northbridge, Mass.) placed 26th with a 225, while junior Alexa Goldman (Dunwoody, Ga.) had a 236 for 27th place and freshman Paige Brown (Huntington, N.Y.) had a 246 for 29th. |
