Crusaders Compete in Jack Leaman Tournament

Amherst, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf team participated in the 2005 Jack Leaman Women's Championship, Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24. The tournament was held at the Hickory Ridge Golf Club on Saturday and at The Orchard Golf Club on Sunday. Freshman Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) lead the Crusaders, tying for 27th-place with a final score of 92. Classmate Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) tied for 41st with a one-round score of 97. Finishing 50th was senior captain Claudia Rothschild (Garden City, N.Y.), who shot a final score of 103. Freshman Chelsea DuHaime (Concord, N.H.) placed 57th with a single-round score of 107, while junior Jessica Martin (Denver, Colo.) rounded out the team at 60th with a score of 116. The Crusaders compete one last time this season on Sunday, May 1, in Williamstown, Mass. at the Williams Spring Invitational. |
