Women's Golf Places 10th At Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The Holy Cross women's golf team tied for 10th place out of 14 teams at the Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club. Freshman Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) led the Crusaders as she tied for 12th place with a two-round score of 160. Holy Cross finished the two-day tournament with a total of 684, while Harvard won the event with a 603.

Senior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with a 170 which was good enough for a tie for 35th place, while freshman Johanna Gavin (Hackettstown, N.J.) had a 174 for a tie for 44th.

The Crusaders return to action on 22-23, when they travel to South Hadley, Mass., to compete at the Mount Holyoke Invitational at the Orchards Golf Club.
