HC Places 11th At Mt. Holyoke Invite

Mt. Holyoke Invitational Results
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass.- The Holy Cross women's golf team placed 11th out of 15 teams at the Mt. Holyoke Invitational at the Orchards Golf Club. Junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) led the Crusaders as she tied for 22nd place with a two-round score of 173. The Crusaders finished the two-day tournament with a total of 747, while Middlebury College won the event with a 655. Senior Cynthia Sanossian (Scarsdale, N.Y.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with a 179 which was good enough for a tie for 32nd place, while junior Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) shot a 191 for a tie for 52nd. The Crusaders will return to action on Sunday, October 8, when they compete at the Williams Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. |
