Women's Golf Places 10th At Mount Holyoke Invitational

South Hadley, Mass.- The Holy Cross women's golf team opened its fall season with a 10th place finish at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in South Hadley, Mass. The Crusaders had a team score of 715. Sophomore Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) had the top performance for Holy Cross with a two day score of 166 which was good for ninth place. Sophomore Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) earned a 22nd place finish with a two day score of 174. Senior captain Meghan Costello (Copley, Ohio) shot a 185 for 45th place, while sophomore Chelsea DuHaime (Concord, N.H.) had a score of 190 and senior Jessica Martin (Denver, Colo.) shot a 194. The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, October 9, when they compete at the Lady Eph Columbus Day Tournament, in Williamstown, Mass. |
