WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore forward Kathryn O'Connor (Brookfield, Conn.) has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from December 3-9. O'Connor led the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Wesleyan in its only game last week.

In the Wesleyan game, O'Connor scored two of the Crusaders' three goals. Her first goal came at the 14:09-mark of the second period, and gave Holy Cross a 2-1 lead. She then added another score at the 9:22-mark of the third period, putting the Crusaders up 3-1 with what would prove to be the game-winning goal.

In nines games played this season, O'Connor has now scored four points on two goals and two assists. Over the course of her Holy Cross career, she has totaled 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points.

The Crusaders (6-2-1 overall, 4-1-0 ECAC East) return to action on January 8, when they play host to Colby at 7:00 p.m.
