Before Holy Cross: Three-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Phillips Academy Andover...team captain as a senior...a four-year member of the field hockey team as she was a senior captain...in 2006 she received the Abbot Field Hockey Award which is given annually to a girl who has excelled in varsity sports and whose loyalty and good sportsmanship exemplify the highest ideals of Andover athletics...also a competitive horseback rider who has won one National Championship and three Reserve National Championships...earned the 2007 Fuller Prize which is awarded to a member of the Senior Class who, having been at Andover for at least two years, has best exemplified and upheld in his or her life and work at Andover the ideals and traditions of the school...in 2006 she won the Stiles Prize which is awarded to the member of the Upper Middle Class whose judgment and loyalty to the school have been exemplary...Coordinator for Community Service Project (Pen Pals Writing Workshop).

Personal: Daughter of Dean and Vicki Boylan...her father was the captain of the Yale hockey team and graduated in 1973...he also played in the North American Hockey League for the Syracuse Blazers and was the captain for the Philadelphia Firebirds, while he also played for the New York Golden Blades of the World Hockey Association...has one brother, Dean, and one sister, Colleen...her brother played football at Ohio Wesleyan...majoring in Visual Arts-Studio Arts.
