The women's varsity eight boat competed in the petite final, finishing second with a time of 7:06.593. The U.S. Coast Guard earned a first-place finish with a time of 7:05.371. The second varsity eight boat placed fifth in their race with a time of 7:53.729, while Williams earned the first-place finish with a time of 7:28.553.]]></description>

St. Germain, originally from Cambridge, Mass., has been part of the Holy Cross Women's Rowing team since Fall 2005. St. Germain was part of the Women's Novice Eight that earned a bronze medal at the New England Championships Regatta.]]></description>

Smas rowed on the women's first varsity eight team, placing fourth in their race at the Patriot League Championship on April 27 at Cooper River in Camden County, N.J. The Patriot League named 11 student-athletes which includes 10 rowers and one coxswain to the All-League team.]]></description>

Four student-athletes will join the Holy Cross program for the 2008-2009 academic year. Callie Gorman joins the Holy Cross Women's Rowing team from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, N.J. As part of the Nereid Boat Club, Callie has experience both in sculling and sweep rowing. At Holy Cross, Gorman has plans to study psychology and take part in student congress.]]></description>

The Crusaders ended the day, placing first in one race and second in the other two they competed in. The women's novice eight placed first in their race with a time of 7:23.2 ahead of MIT Lightweights (7:27.4) and Trinity (7:53.4). The women's varsity eight placed second in their race with a time of 6:49.5, ahead of MIT who finished with 6:52.2.]]></description>
