Women's Rowing Earns A League-Best 33 On Honor Roll
The Holy Cross women's rowing team had 33 student-athletes named to the 2009 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including freshmen Mattea Cumoletti and Eliza Gettel who each earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in the spring semester. They were just two of seven members of the women's rowing Academic Honor Roll to record a 4.0. Also seniors Clare Bracikowski and Johanna Cubelli made the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time. Holy Cross' 33 selections were the most in the league. (more)

Women's Rowing Announces 2009-2010 Freshman Class
The Holy Cross women's rowing program has announced the 2009-2010 freshman class. Kaleigh Hahn, Mary Claire Scherer, Alexandra Torres, Catherine Roy and Allison Hartman will join the Holy Cross program for the 2009-2010 academic year. Kaleigh Hahn of Ellicott City, Md., comes to Holy Cross from Notre Dame Preparatory School. As team captain and a lightweight rower, Hahn has been stroke seat in the varsity four for the past three years. She is the President of Student Council and has been involved in Notre Dame's Medical Club, Environmental Club, as well as Habitat for Humanity. (more)

Women's Rowing Announces 2009-2010 Team Captains
Holy Cross head women's rowing coach Patrick Diggins has announced seniors Abby Hammond (Holliston, Mass.) and Mara Piltin (Medford, N.J.) as the 2009-2010 team co-captains. A three-year member of the rowing team, Hammond helped the Crusaders earn a spot in the 2008 and 2009 grand finals at the New England Championships. During this year's Patriot League Championship, she was a member of the varsity eight boat which finished in third place. (more)
