Worcester, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing teams have been picked to finish fifth in the 2008 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Bucknell was chosen for the third year in a row to finish first in the Patriot League, earning 32 points and receiving eight first place votes. Navy placed second in the poll with 25 points and two first place votes followed by Colgate (19 points), Lehigh (14 points) and Holy Cross finishing fifth with 10 points.

The Crusaders kick off their season in Worcester, competing against Coast Guard, Mount Holyoke, and Wesleyan on Saturday, March 29.
