Holy Cross Women's Soccer Falls To Siena, 4-0

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Holy Cross women's soccer team fell to Siena, 4-0, in non-conference action this afternoon. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 2-4 overall, while the Saints improve to 2-3 overall.

Siena got on the scoreboard at the 19:38 mark when Cara Riley scored an unassisted goal. At the 41:45 mark, Tabitha Tice gave the Saints a 2-0 lead. In the second half Siena scored two more goals for the 4-0 victory. Susie Blaisdell scored at 52:05, while Stephanie DiMari netted a goal at 83:44.

Sophomore goalie Jessica Stone (Rockville, Md.) made five saves for the Crusaders, while Patti Carroll also stopped five shots for Siena.

The Crusaders return to action on Friday, September 21, when they travel to Orono, Maine to take on Maine at 3:00 p.m.
