Durham, N.H.- The Holy Cross women's soccer team fell to New Hampshire, 3-0, on Wednesday evening under the lights in Durham, N.H. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 2-7 on the season, while the Wildcats improve to 5-3.

The Wildcats got on the board at the 35:30 mark when Sara Hourihan shot the ball into the right corner of the net with an assist given to Kelly Collins. Hourihan extended the lead when she scored her second goal of the game at the 41:51 mark when she received a thru ball from Robyn Bishop and then placed the ball into the left side of the net. UNH put the game out of reach at the 71:16 mark when Michelle Sheehan scored off an assist from Lindsey Smagula.

Holy Cross sophomore goalie Cashel Scanlon (Bethesda, Md.) made five saves, while UNH goalie Julie Randall also stopped five shots to earn the win.

The Crusaders return to action when they host Merrimack at Hart Soccer Field on Sunday, September 25, at 1:00 p.m.
