CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Holy Cross women's soccer team has been picked to finish eighth in the 2007 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Navy was picked to finish first as it earned 12 of 16 first place votes and 96 total points. Bucknell had two first place votes and 85 total points as it was picked to finish second, followed by Colgate (two first place votes and 75 total points), Lehigh (63 total points), American (48 total points), Army (31 total points), Lafayette (30 total points) and Holy Cross (20 total points).

The Crusaders are set to kick off the 2007 season when they play at Albany on Sunday, September 2, at 2:00 p.m.
