Holy Cross Softball Drops Two Games On Day Four Of Rebel Games

Kissimmee, Fla. - After day four of the Rebel Spring games being held in Kissimmee, Florida the Crusaders hold a record of 1-7 going into these afternoons' games against Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne and Detroit. In yesterdays game against Detroit the Crusaders fell 8-0. In their game against Sacred Heart the Crusaders lost a close game 3-2.

Against Detroit the Crusaders had two hits on 17 bats remaining scoreless for the game. On the mound for the first three innings was junior Natalie Cruz (Manalapan, N.J.) making one strikeout and giving up six runs. Relieving her was freshman Katie Alexander (Tigard, Ore.) for an inning giving up one run. Closing for the Crusaders was freshman Erin Fleming (Townsend, Mass.) giving up one run.

The Crusaders take on Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne today at 1:00 pm and Detroit at 3:00 pm.
