Women's Swimming Places 11 On Academic All-League Team

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving squad has placed 11 student-athletes on the 2007 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by league officials. Junior Erica Archer (Schenectady, N.Y.) was one of just eight female swimming and diving student-athletes to earn 4.00 grade point averages during the spring semester. A total of 96 student-athletes were named to this year's women's swimming honor roll.

In addition to Archer, representing the Crusaders are senior Aislinn Kelly (Sandwich, Mass.); juniors Andrea Doherty (Needham, Mass.), Amanda Dugan (Saddle River, N.J.) and Rachel Quaden (Chelmsford, Mass.); sophomores Emily Cupelo (Manlius, N.Y.), Erica Little (Attleboro, Mass.), Katie Loughlin (Leawood, Kan.), Mary-Elizabeth Maher (Milford, Mass.) and Katherine Marone (West Hartford, Conn.); and freshman Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.).

To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
