Women's Track Finishes Fourth At New England Championship
The Holy Cross women's track and field team finished in fourth place at the 2008 New England Championship, held on Friday and Saturday at the University of New Hampshire. The Crusaders had their best-ever finish at the meet, while totaling 59 points and placing 13 individuals in the top 10. Boston College won the meet with a total of 131 points. Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) won the New England title in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.26, while placing second in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.33. (more)

Track Competes At Day One Of New England Championship
The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Durham, N.H., to compete in the 2008 New England Championship outdoor track and field meet at the University of New Hampshire. After day one, the Crusader women had four athletes place in the top 10, with five others advancing to their event finals. The Holy Cross men added one top 10 finish and placed one athlete into the finals. Katherine Clifford finished fifth in the javelin with a toss of 121'9". (more)

Track & Field Places Four Athletes On All-League Team
The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams have placed four athletes on the 2008 All-Patriot League teams, following the conclusion of the outdoor track and field championship this past weekend in Annapolis, Md. The first team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the first-place finishers in each event, while the second team All-Patriot League squad is comprised of the second-place finishers in each event.
