Volleyball Defeated By Lehigh, 3-0

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Holy Cross volleyball team fell to Lehigh, 3-0, by scores of 30-27, 30-25 and 30-20 in Patriot League action on Friday night. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 3-15 overall (0-4 Patriot League), while the Mountain Hawks improve to 4-11 overall (1-3 Patriot League). Senior outside hitter Christine Strawson (Torrington, Conn.) led the Crusaders with 11 kills and eight digs, while freshman Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) recorded 23 assists. The Mountain Hawks were led by Shannon Spafford's 13 kills and Brittany Dickinson's 20 assists. The Crusaders return to action when they play at Lafayette on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. |
