Volleyball Blanked By Colgate, 3-0

HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Holy Cross volleyball team lost to Colgate, 3-0, by scores of 30-15, 30-19, and 30-20 in Patriot League action on Saturday night. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 3-18 overall (0-7 Patriot League), while the Raiders improve to 11-9 overall (5-1 Patriot League). Senior outside hitter Christine Strawson (Torrington, Conn.) led the Crusaders with nine kills, six digs, and three service points while freshman Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) recorded 25 assists and five digs. Junior Molly Anderson (Weston, Conn.) added 14 digs for Holy Cross. Colgate was led by Casey Ritt who had 14 kills and Jackie Adlam who notched 24 digs. The Crusaders return to action when they travel to Navy for a match scheduled against Navy on Friday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. |
