WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross senior volleyball player Christine Strawson (Torrington, Conn.) was named to the Crusader Classic All-Tournament team making it eight straight regular season tournaments that she has made the all-tournament team. Strawson set the Holy Cross career kills record during the match with Loyola (Md.) in which she recorded 22 kills. After the weekend she now has 1,081 career kills.

Strawson had 49 kills and 29 digs in the three matches at the tournament. Strawson has registered double-digit kills in eight of Holy Cross' 10 matches this season.

Strawson is a two-time Patriot League Volleyball Scholar Athlete of the Year, while she was named to the 2006 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District I first team and to the second team in 2005. She is also a two-time All-Patriot League second team member.
