Crusader Cross Country Announces 2008 Schedule
Aug. 22, 2008 WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head coach Jim Kavanagh have announced the 2008 schedule for the Crusader men's and women's cross country teams. Holy Cross is currently scheduled to take part in eight meets this season. The Crusaders will open the season on Sept. 6 in the Blue Devil Invitational at Central Connecticut State. On Sept. 12 Holy Cross will travel to Fitchburg State for the Jim Sheehan Classic, then on Sept. 19 the Crusaders head to Notre Dame, Ind., for the National Catholic Championship. The Murray Keatinge Invitational will be held in Orono, Maine, on Oct. 4, followed by the New England Championship in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 11. Holy Cross will then compete in the Patriot League Championships on Nov. 1, which will be held at Lehigh. The NCAA Northeast Regional is next for the Crusaders, on Nov. 15 in the Bronx, N.Y. This meet is followed by the IC4A and ECAC Championships on Nov. 22, which will also be held in the Bronx, N.Y. |
